How long does 1 filter last?

1 AquaMax and AquaClassic filters last for about 1 month of work. 1 AquaPro filter is enough for about 2 months of use. Filter usage depends on the frequency of use and the hardness of tap water.

How to use the water filter?

Instructions on how to use the filter can be found here: How do you use the filter jug?
The filter is intended for tap water, which has already been pre-treated and is safe for health. Do not filter water of unknown origin and contaminated.

    Is filtered water healthy?

Filtered tap water is safe for health, tap water undergoes proper tests before it reaches homes, contains chlorine and various sediments. By using a filter, you remove chlorine, sediment, sand, rust and components that degrade the taste and smell of water.

Can you filter water directly from the tap?

Of course. In Poland / EU countries, tap water must meet certain standards that allow safe use of it. This means that you can drink water straight from the tap. However, to compensate for the content of chlorine and limestone, an additional cleaning with a jug filter is recommended.

Should the water be boiled before filtering?

Water does not require boiling before filtering.

What ingredients does the filter remove from the water?

Filters AquaMax and AquaClassic removes chlorine, pesticides, detergents, mineral salts responsible for water hardness.

    Does the filter remove bacteria?

The filter does not remove bacteria. It is necessary to filter only tap water, which must meet certain standards, including bacteria. They are used to remove them chlorine, which worsens the taste and smell of water. By using a jug filter you reduce the concentration of chlorine in the water that has already been free of bacteria.

Does the filter remove iron and metals from the water?

Our filters do not remove iron and other metals (eg manganese) from water.

Does the filter remove all minerals from the water?

The filter significantly reduces the concentration of minerals responsible for water hardness. However, they are not removed completely. Purified water Wessper has mineral ingredients (their concentration depends on the composition of tap water), which are needed for the proper functioning of the body. Filtering improves the quality of water by removing chlorine, used to disinfect water, limiting the concentration of mineral salts, retaining sand, rust, sediments.

What to do if the water does not flow through the filter?

Remove the filter from the jug and shake it to change the arrangement of the filter mixture. The blockage of water flow may be caused by incorrect placement of the filtering mixture or improper preparation of the filter (no soaking of the filter, and then three filtering of water and pouring it out).

Why does the filtered water contain black impurities?

Black matter floating in water is a coal that is safe for health and can escape from the filter during pre-filtering. It includes soaking the filter in water for 15 minutes, then placing it in a jug and filtering the water 3 times, during this process pollutants may come out from the filter.
During pre-filtration, the components of the mixture are activated, following the instructions prevents the release of contaminants along with purified water.

Why the filter does not clean the water?

The most common reason is the improper preparation of the filter (no soaking the filter, then filtering the water three times and pouring it) or improper filter installation in a jug, eg in Brita * pitchers, press the filter until it clicks, otherwise the water will overflow sideways and it will not be purified.

A mixture spills out of the filter, what to do?

Contact the seller from whom you have purchased the filter, replace it with a new one. The pouring out of the mixture from the filter may be caused by inadequate welding of the elements during production. This happens very rarely, but despite the improvement of production lines, there may be isolated instances of incorrectly connected filters.

    What’s in the filter composition?

The filter mixture is different for standard and alkaline filters. In AquaMax and AquaClassic filters, the bed is silver impregnated activated carbon and ion exchange resin. AquaPro filters in addition to the aforementioned ingredients contain mineral and ceramic deposits, which allow water to be alkalized and reduce the ORP level.

Does the filter have to be submerged all the time?

The filter should remain soaked, allowing it to work optimally. Excessive drying of the filter mixture does not allow for proper water filtration.

Where to throw away the used filter?

The filter can be disposed of in municipal waste, its composition is safe and does not threaten the environment, while the housing is made of plastic, which can be recycled.

What are the differences between the filter models?

They are three types of filters are available: AquaMax and AquaClassic – standard filters remove chlorine and limestone; AquaPro are alkalizing filters, raise the pH of water and reduce ORP.
Each filter type is designed for a different kind of jug, AquaPro filters fit only into Wessper AquaPro jugs, while AquaClassic and AquaMax match jugs of different brands, before selecting you should check in the product specification whether they match the selected model.
